Aston Martin reduced emissions at 15MY on Vanquish and Rapide S. Changes to gear and final drive ratios allow the cars to be quicker but also more fuel efficient. In both sports cars the CO2 figure drops by an average of ten per cent – down to 298 g/km for Vanquish and 300 g/km for Rapide S.
The company is currently implementing its Second Century Plan which sees the existing product range renewed over the coming years, starting with DB11 in 2016. Aston Martin is committed to improving fuel efficiency whilst retaining its position as one of the world’s finest luxury sports cars makers.
